What Is a Snap-On-Smile?

What Is a Snap-On-Smile?

Wouldn’t it be great to transform your smile instantly whenever you want to, without the cost, time, and complexity of a complete smile makeover? With the Snap-On Smile®, you can.

Also called snap-on veneers, Snap-On Smile is designed to correct an array of cosmetic issues without needles or drills and altering your teeth. As a leading provider of the Snap-On-Smile, Marvin Taylor, DDS, and his team review the process and benefits of this state-of-the-art cosmetic dentistry solution for patients at Dr. Taylor’s Family Dental Center.

What Snap-On-Smile treats

Snap-on-Smile is a removable appliance that slides over your natural teeth. Made of durable, tooth-colored resin, the Snap-On-Smile device is custom-made and crafted to hug the contours of your teeth without damaging them.

While crowns and veneers can improve your smile, too, they’re much more costly and they require changes to your teeth, making them irreversible. Snap-On-Smile doesn’t change your teeth in any way, meaning you can slip it on when you need it (like for special occasions) and slide it off when you don’t.

Your Snap-On-Smile can be used to camouflage a wide variety of smile flaws, including:

Before creating your Snap-On-Smile, Dr. Taylor reviews your concerns to ensure your smile looks its best.

How Snap-On Smile works

The Snap-On-Smile process takes two visits. During your first visit, Dr. Taylor makes an impression or mold of your teeth and then sends them to a lab specializing in creating Snap-On-Smile appliances.

During your second visit, you try your new Snap-On-Smile so Dr. Taylor can make any necessary minor adjustments for a perfectly comfortable fit. He also helps you learn to apply and remove your Snap-On-Smile and guides you in caring for it.

The Snap-On-Smile fits securely over your teeth, so you don’t have to worry about it slipping or falling out. You can even eat with the Snap-On-Smile in place — you should avoid or limit darkly colored foods and drinks or hard, sticky foods to prevent damage or stains.

Unlike cosmetic dentistry treatments, the Snap-On-Process is painless and needle-free, which means it can be an ideal option for anyone, even people with dental anxiety.
